On July 31 I will begin sweeping the wicked from the earth

I have had the same dream 2 or 3 times a year for 34 of the last 35 years. In April I realized that the dream came to pass back in December. I had thought the dream came from hurts in my own heart, but when it came to pass I realized that it came from God.
Shortly after that I heard God say, "You had this dream all these years and never figured it out it was from me. Pay attention. Pay attention to what you hear and be diligent in discerning if it is from me - especially what you hear and see in your dreams." So I started being more diligent in paying attention and discerning - and I had a dream in which I heard a single sentence.
"On July 31 I will begin sweeping the wicked from the earth."
I used 1 John 4:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 12:3 to discern that the spirit bringing the dream and claiming it was from God was from God. I checked to make sure July had 31 days. It occurred to me to check to see if there was anything related to July 31 that would fit God picking that date. This is what I found.
Sundown July 31, 2017 starts the 9th day of the Hebrew month of Av. The history for that date fits God beginning to sweep the wicked from the earth. Consider the history:
  • God told Moses that the adult generation would not enter the promised land.
  • The first temple in Jerusalem was destroyed.
  • The second temple in Jerusalem was destroyed.
  • Jerusalem was destroyed and plowed under in 135 AD.
  • Nazi Germany signed the orders to exterminate the Jews on the 8th of Av. The orders went into effect on the 9th.
  • The next year Nazi Germany began shipping trainloads of Jews to the death camps on the 9th of Av.

I asked God who the wicked were. In another dream he showed me that the wicked were those who would not accept his configuration for their lives.
Too much lines up for me not to share this for others to consider.

False Hope: A Potentially Fatal Spiritual Attack

False hope may be the result of a spiritual attack by corrupt spiritual forces. Such an attack is designed to weaken, kill, and destroy its victims.

Hope delayed makes the heart sick. (Proverbs 13:12) It weakens and wounds the heart. A hope is delayed when what we hope for does not occur under the conditions we hoped it would occur. It is discouraging, disheartening, and depressing.

A false hope attack is centered on a temptation - a thought - to hope that something will occur. The thing hoped for may be something good. The key is that it is a hope for something to occur that is not going to occur when we hope it will. If we accept the temptation and hope, then we are hit with discouragement and possibly grief when it does not occur. This chokes our energy - our will and our doing of things. It can even choke our energy to do the things necessary to sustain our own lives.

The temptation will be repeated as necessary to continue to discourage and choke our energy. Day after day after day the thing we hope for does not occur. As we become more and more discouraged we become more and more vulnerable to depression, addictions, suicide, or violence.

The key to overcoming the attack is to recognize the temptation, reject it, and encourage oneself in God. Trust God with the things that need to occur in your life and when they will occur. Commit yourself and everything that occurs in your life to God and he will cause the things you need to occur.
